Easy to Prepare Chinese Recipes

Chinese recipes are very popular, but eating at a Chinese restaurant makes it seem that Chinese recipes are very complicated to prepare. But contrary to popular belief, Chinese recipes are one of the easiest recipes to prepare. Many Chinese meals are very easy to prepare and some are very quick to cook. Stir-fires, for instance, only take a couple of minutes to prepare. Stews may take a little bit longer to cook, but they are relatively easy to prepare giving you more time while cooking.

Veggie Fried Rice

If you are looking to prepare Chinese dishes, here are some of the recipes that you can do easily at home:

Ingredients:

3 cupscold cooked rice2 eggs, lightly beaten1 (16-ounce) package frozen peas and carrots, thawed1/4 cupsoy sauce2 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons vegetable oil, divided

Directions:

Heat 2 tsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet.Pour the eggs and cook scrambled. Break the scrambled eggs into smaller pieces to suit the fried rice then set aside.Heat 2 tablespoons oil and cook carrots and peas in a couple of minutes.Add the cold rice and sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.Stir in the scrambled eggs and cook for remaining 2 minutes until the fried rice is heated through.Serve while hot.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup diced red bell pepper4 scallions, chopped (about 1/2 cup)3 garlic cloves, minced1/2 teaspoon ground ginger1 teaspoon corn starch1 teaspoon sugar3 tablespoon soy sauce2 tablespoon sesame oil3 tablespoon peanut oil, divided1/2 pound vermicelli or spaghetti

Directions:

Cook pasta and set aside.Combine garlic, ginger, 2 tbsp. peanut oil, sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce and corn starch in a small bowl.Heat remaining 1 tbsp peanut oil in a large skillet and sauté red pepper and scallions in two minutes.Add the cooked pasta and stir fry.Pour the sauce into the skillet and cook until the sauce has slightly thickened.Serve while hot.

Egg drop soup is a popular Chinese dish and is unbelievably easy to prepare with the following steps:

Ingredients:

4 (14-ounce) cans chicken broth, divided2 tablespoon soy sauce1/2 cupthin angle-sliced scallions (1 to 2 scallions)2 eggs, beaten2 tablespoon corn starch1 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions:

Bring 3 ½ cans broth to boil and stir in sesame oil.Combine the remaining ½ can broth and corn starch in a small bowl and add to the soup.Pour the slightly beaten eggs and slowly stir to form egg strands.Add the soy cause and scallions.Serve while hot.

All these recipes are very easy to prepare so turn your regular dish into a sumptuous Chinese dish for a day.
